The team:

Genetec is seeking a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for developing growth within our existing partner base, as well as developing new security integration partners. The successful candidate will bring passion, ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit to the role and will have the ability to drive results. Along with a tight alignment to Account Executive and Sales Engineering teams, this person will also work in partnership with multiple disciplines internally to drive visibility, engagement and demand through aligned, tailored plans that help us achieve mutual pipeline acceleration and revenue growth.

We seek someone with a \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude who takes ownership for the task at hand. The ideal candidate will possess a tenacity that will focus on building relationships and establishing credible opportunities for Genetec within the identified account(s). The Channel Account Executive works collaboratively on an ongoing basis towards the goal of long-term account retention and maximized selling opportunities.

What your day will look like:

  • Plan, forecast, manage, and deliver consistent long-term profitable channel growth
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key contacts within channel partner accounts
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis
  • Discover and track opportunities, follow up and distribute leads to Channel Partners and Account Executives
  • Identify and coordinate technical training requirements to ensure partner success
  • Host Sales 101 training on Genetec tools and portals
  • Utilize your expertise of the Genetec product portfolio to conduct customer demos
  • Coordinate the quarterly/annual channel business review process
  • Establish internal relationships within the sales team and communicate regularly with Account Executives to ensure top notch customer support through all levels of the organization
  • Update and maintain data in CRM and other applications
  • Acquire, maintain, and report adequate knowledge of product, market and competition
  • Stay abreast of products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends and leverage information to provide ongoing strategic customer service and support
  • Serve as internal channel advocate to ensure partner satisfaction. Monitor and report customer satisfaction levels
  • Work cross-functionally throughout the organization to deliver on company goals
About you:
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Security integration experience, Integration channel management a plus
  • Excellent communication skills; able to articulate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone and in writing; strong presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to work with a minimum of direction and supervision to be able to translate broad directives into useful tactics and meaningful activities
  • Understanding of business practices; ability to influence and leverage company management and key contributors to achieve growth goals
  • Ability to influence and gain consensus among multiple stakeholders in group purchase situations
  • Ability to work cross functionally and build relationships with core stakeholders
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft, O365:Dynamics CRM and Power BI a plus
  • Acumen for understanding of complex technology systems
  • IT and/or IP Security industry background a plus
  • Proven sales achievement/track record
  • Willing to travel up to 35%
