Standard Hours per day: 7.5 hours work dayNote:The place of work for the assignment is remote with a requirement to be within 1 of the local time zone (AST). Access to necessary information will be provided for the duration of the engagement.DeliverablesThe successful candidate must deliver the following in order to successfully complete the engagement:Project Tasks and Deliverables:

  • Develop the Change Management Strategy and document a structured approach to ensure changes are implemented smoothly and successfully to achieve lasting benefits. The Change Management Strategy will consider the impact of the change on individuals, diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders and will outline a plan for the change to be implemented and sustained through the required training.
  • Develop the Communications Plan to guide communication efforts throughout the project. It will be a living document and will be updated as audience needs evolve. The plan will explain how to convey the right message, from the right communicator to the right audience, through the right channel, at the right time. The plan will address the six basic elements of communications: communicator, message, communication channel, feedback mechanism, receiver/audience, and time frame.
  • Perform Stakeholder Analysis and develop a Stakeholder Engagement plan to ensure the effective participation of internal and external stakeholders in change and communication activities.
  • Develop a Training/Workshop Strategy to identify appropriate training approaches, create a training action plan, and deliver multiple training sessions to diverse professionals in English and French.
  • Develop communication and training/workshop materials in both English and French.
  • Work closely with the technical solution partners and project team to develop the communications, training strategy and training materials.
  • Ensure the alignment of Change Management activities with participating stakeholders to smooth the adoption process and contribute to problem-solving.
  • Ensure the implementation of the Change Management Strategy and Communication Plan for managing and communicating the change throughout the life of the project.
Requirement Detail/QualificationsGeneral Duties:
  • Has proven experience in Change Management and in the development of change management programs
  • Has proven experience in the development of training and communication plans
  • Has experience in the delivery of a Benefits Evaluation Strategy and Plan
  • Has experience facilitating workshops
  • Has experience in presenting to Senior Management levels
  • Identifies and assesses change impacts to the organizations business processes and technology solutions
  • Analyses and evaluates each alternative based on business and technical impact and cost/benefit considerations, and proposes, justifies, plans and costs the implementation of the selected alternative.
  • Engages stakeholders in contributing to effective change
  • Develops and/or implements a change management process and tools
  • Plans, directs and controls the activities of a the change management team within scheduled time and cost parameters
  • Supervision:
  • May work independently or under the general supervision of a Program Director.
