We are currently hiring a

Food and Beverage Manager

to join our Chances Castlegar Team

.

In this position you will plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the workers and resources of the Food and Beverage department for efficient, well-prepared, and profitable service. This will be done by being hands-on and on the floor working with your team members.

What you will be doing

Work alongside with the management team to ensure standards of both food and service and production are consistently high within B's Public House. Assist with supervising the operations to minimize legal liability and conform to alcoholic beverage regulations. Coordinate new staff training needs. Work on the floor and be present with the team. Train and develop team for outstanding customer service. Work with management to increase sales and minimize costs including food, beverage, supplies and labour costs. Respond to guest complaints taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into returning guests. Evaluate guest feedback and take relevant actions on feedback received. Assist clients with all details of event planning for catering events. Liaison between the clients and operations staff to ensure all arrangements are executed properly for catering events. Plan, organize, and market special events with assistance of the management team.
