Junior Dental Assistant/Reception Floater

to support both the clinical and front-desk operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team, learn hands-on, and grow your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Position Type:

Part-Time (with potential to expand)

Hours:

Wednesday:

10:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Thursday:

9:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Friday:

9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Potential future Saturdays:

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (TBD)

Responsibilities:

Chairside Assistant Duties:

Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a smooth patient flow. Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness. Prepare treatment rooms before each appointment. Take X-rays (if certified) or assist with charting and patient notes.

Reception Floater Duties:

Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient communications. Process payments and help with insurance coordination. Support the administrative team during busy times.

What We're Looking For:

Junior or newly trained dental assistant

OR someone eager to learn. Dental Reception or assisting experience is an asset --we are willing to train the right candidate. Organized, dependable, and professional communication skills. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. X-ray module or dental assisting certification is an asset but not mandatory.
