We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office while providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office. Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management. Support pediatric patients with a friendly demeanor to create a comfortable environment.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred; familiarity with orthodontics is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential. Proficiency in using CAD software for dental procedures is an advantage. Experience as a dental receptionist or in pediatrics can enhance your application. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are required.
