:Our very successful Downtown Vancouver client is looking for a CFO for their diverse group of companies. You are entrepreneurial and enjoy a wide variety of technical accounting & finance challenges while wearing many hats in a fast-paced dynamic environment.Reporting to the CEO, the scope of responsibility for this diverse CFO role provides the full gamut of excitement and challenges. You will not be bored! As a key contributor in this small head office team, you will work closely with the leadership team for this very successful and diverse group of companies. Responsibilities will evolve as quickly as you can master them and take control. They will include ultimate financial responsibility for the group, monthly & annual financial, operational and regulatory reporting packages, while mentoring a small accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to be hands-on in all areas including budgeting, forecasting and long-range strategic planning, management reporting, cash management, managing external professional relationships, financing and developing new ways to use technology. This role provides variety, challenge, flexibility and growth for the successful candidate.TMGVCJob Requirements:

• Canadian CPA designation
• 12+ years experience in a leadership role
• Experience in real estate, brick & mortar, and/or investment industries a differentiator
• Ability to understand key business drivers
• Keen attention to detail; ability and willingness to get hands dirty
• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial team-based environment
• Exceptional time management capability; able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize
• Intermediate to Advanced level financial modelling skills in Microsoft Excel
• A people person with a can-do attitude; passionate about embracing change and challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A passion for working well and communicating respectfully with everyone
