As a Fire Alarm Technician - Service, Inspection & Installation, you'll:

Perform inspections, verifications, and maintenance of fire alarm systems (per CAN/ULC-S536 & CAN/ULC-S537) Install, commission, and program new fire alarm systems and panels Troubleshoot, service, and repair a range of fire alarm and life safety systems Conduct Verification Inspections (VIs) and publish VI Reports Work closely with contractors, building owners, and engineers to ensure compliance Mentor junior technicians and uphold company safety standards Participate in on-call rotation and occasional out-of-town work when required
What You Bring

Valid CFAA Certification - required Minimum 5 years of experience in fire alarm service, inspection, or installation Familiarity with fire codes, CAN/ULC standards, and verification procedures Strong troubleshooting and electrical diagnostic skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities M-Class Electrical License (Manitoba) - asset Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work safely at heights or confined spaces
