EagleForce Security is seeking a certified and experienced Use of Force Instructor to lead training sessions for licensed security professionals. This role is ideal for a trainer with a strong foundation in law enforcement, defensive tactics instruction, or security education. The instructor will be responsible for providing practical, compliant, and engaging Use of Force training aligned with Ontario's legal and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Deliver in-person Use of Force instruction to new and existing licensed security guards
Train on subject control, tactical communication, de-escalation, handcuffing, and compliance techniques
Conduct written and practical evaluations to assess trainee understanding and skill
Ensure all training materials, delivery, and testing align with Ontario Ministry guidelines
Maintain training documentation including attendance, assessments, and certification logs
Support the development of high-performing guard teams by reinforcing professionalism and preparedness
Coordinate closely with EagleForce Security management to align training with operational needs
Qualifications
Must hold a valid
Use of Force Instructor Certification
, which may include one of the following:
Manufacturer-issued Instructor Certificate (e.g., Monadnock, ASP, PPCT, or similar)
Minimum 2 years of experience in law enforcement, defensive tactics training, or a similar role
Familiarity with the Private Security and Investigative Services Act (PSISA) and applicable Ontario regulations
Excellent communication skills and a professional teaching presence
Valid CPR/First Aid Instructor certification is an asset
Must be eligible to work in Ontario and available for on-site instruction in the Greater Toronto Area
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
