Powell River Therapeutic Riding Association (PRTRA)
is currently hiringCertified Therapeutic Riding Instructors.
This role vital in supporting our therapeutic riding programs.We're Looking For:
Individuals with
a minimum of 5 years of hands-on horse experience
Applicants who arereliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors throughCanTRA, PATH, or CHA
- or those
seriously interested in pursuing certification
with our supportApplicants without the required horse experience will not be contacted.
Responsibilities May Include:
Assisting with or teaching therapeutic riding lessons Preparing horses for sessions: grooming, tacking, warming up Mucking stalls, feeding, and general barn maintenance Supporting riders with physical, emotional, or cognitive challenges in a respectful and professional manner
