Location: Vancouver, British ColumbiaWhat you will be doing:Experience developing and implementing record management and archival policies, standards, and guidelines.Demonstrated experience at a senior level (in large organizations) in records management and archival services planning and development.Ability to provide advice and leadership to executives, line managers, and staff, in operational and office environments.Demonstrated experience developing and/or managing indexing/classification, taxonomies, and electronic management systems, and strategic records, information, and imaging systems.Excellent change management, communication and interpersonal skills; contract, project management, and risk assessment skillsAbility to assess current industry trends and emerging business requirements, technologies, and develop strategies for the effective provision of records and information management.Complete project management activities including scoping, planning, managing, monitoring, and reporting on project tasks.Demonstrate strong relationship management skills including analytical thinking, coaching skills, negotiation skills, as well as presentation, facilitation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills to fulfill BC Hydros business needs.Maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders in a matrix reporting environment through regular reporting and communication using excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills enabling timely progression of projects.Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of project management practices and procedures, and hands-on experience in applying these to optimize project resources.Understands and has experience implementing corporate retention schedules.Experience with leading and implementing projects relating to digitization and/or digital preservation.What you must have:Masters Degree in Library and Information Studies, Archival Studies, Information Studies or similar designationA combination of work experience and educational background may be consideredSalary Rate/Range: $46.00 -$57.00 per hourTerm: 12-month contract; most likely to extendFor more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
