We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, motivating, and results-driven environment. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Fitness Trainer to join our growing team.



Job Summary:



We are seeking a certified and energetic Fitness Trainer with a proven track record in both one-on-one personal training and group fitness instruction. The ideal candidate is a master of motivation, knowledgeable in exercise science, and dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. You will be responsible for designing and implementing effective workout programs, leading high-energy group classes, and fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere.



Key Responsibilities:



o Design and execute safe, effective, and personalized fitness programs for individual clients.



o Lead and instruct dynamic, engaging, and challenging group fitness classes.



o Conduct initial fitness assessments and consultations to understand client goals and physical abilities.



o Track client progress, provide ongoing support, and modify programs as needed to ensure results.



o Educate and empower clients on proper exercise technique, form, and safety.



o Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment.



o Assist in member engagement, retention efforts, and promotional events.



o Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices in fitness and training.



Qualifications and Experience:



o Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in both one-on-one personal training and group fitness instruction.



o A valid and nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (e.g., CanFitPro, CSEP, ACE, NASM, etc.).



o Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification is required.



o Strong knowledge of human anatomy, exercise physiology, and nutrition principles.



o Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.



o Ability to work with a diverse range of clients with varying fitness levels and goals.



o A professional, punctual, and reliable work ethic.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:

Personal Training: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:

First Aid Certification (required)
Work Location: In person
