The Hodgson Group Orthotics & Prosthetics provides custom prosthetic and orthotic treatment for patients in the Greater Vancouver area. Our staff pursue creative solutions to unique challenges. We are searching for a motivated team player to join our Hodgson clinical team. You will be working in a collaborative environment to support our patients in the provision of orthotic treatments. Experience in pediatric care, spinal orthotics and treating spasticity are considered an asset.

Clinical Duties & Expectations:

• Conduct comprehensive empathetic patient assessments, design and implement effective orthotic treatments in a team environment.
• Ensure treatment outcomes align with patient goals established during initial assessments.
• Ensure all patient charts, records of care and service are completed in a timely manner
• Work to establish rapport and trusting relationships with patients.
• Work collaboratively with other Hodgson staff and members of the healthcare community.
• Competency in English to utilize effective written and verbal communication skills

Educational and Employment Requirements:

• Certified Orthotist CO (C) or equivalent international designation with five years of experience
• Non-Canadian trained applicants must be willing to engage in the OPC Residency program to challenge national certification exams within 2 years.
• Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada
