Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of exceptional patient care by assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient interactions, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. The Dental Assistant will play a key role in maintaining high standards of hygiene, patient comfort, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities



Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including implant surgery, orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when required. Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Cleardent. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations. Assist with administrative tasks as needed to ensure clinic efficiency.

Skills



Proficiency with dental software including and systems. Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and orthodontics. Experience working with implant and orthodontic settings is preferred. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members. Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical environment. Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards. Prior experience as a Dental Assistant with advanced responsibilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with dental assisting certifications or licenses is required or preferred depending on regional regulations. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
