We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care while ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
Perform chairside assisting duties, including taking and developing radiographs (X-rays).
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the cleanliness of the treatment area.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care, including working with pediatric and orthodontic patients.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries as a dental receptionist when needed.
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology is preferred.
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, along with knowledge of orthodontics.
Proficiency in using dental software systems like Dentrix and Epic is highly desirable.
