JOB DESCRIPTION Accent Care Home & Health Services is employing a male Certified Health Care Aide for our part-time permanent position. To apply for this position, you must have all the following: Education, experience, skills, and physical acknowledgements below:

• Health Care Aide Certification \xe2\x80\x93 Accredited School or College in Canada - MANDITORY
• High School Diploma \xe2\x80\x93 Grade 12
• Current CPR and First Aide Certification \xe2\x80\x93 registry valid
• Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search \xe2\x80\x93 valid in the last 3 months
• Current Adult Abuse Registry Check - valid in the last 3 months
• Current Child Abuse Registry Check - valid in the last 3 months
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar position
• Experience with transferring and transporting client and/or patients and equipment in the private home sector and public setting.
• Ability to deal effectively with agitated client (adults and children)
• General Skills and the ability to perform all tasks and responsibilities relevant to the duties of the position and/or client.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
• Ability to communicate verbal and written in English.
• Ability to respond to variety of simultaneous demands.
• Standing for periods of time

• Monday - Friday (7:00 am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00 pm) on specific days
• Area of the City: Talbot \xe2\x80\x93 Grey Area

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $15.36-$16.58 per hour Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
