Job Summary

We are a private clinic specializing in neuromuscular care who are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented EMG Technician to join our healthcare team. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care, with brand new state-of the art equipment in a welcoming and cordial work environment. We are currently looking for a skilled and knowledgable EMG technician to join our team on a full-time basis. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality nerve conduction study (NCS) testing to assist in the diagnosis of neuromuscular disorders including routine arm and leg studies as well as repetitive nerve stimulation. Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and explaining the process Record and analyze test results, collaborating with the physician to discuss findings and assist in accurate interpretation Be able to recognize and troubleshoot artifacts. Document test results accurately and maintain detailed patient records. Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning properly, reporting any issues as necessary. Stay current with advancements in EMG technology and techniques through ongoing education.

Requirements

Experience performing EMG/NCS in a clinical setting is preferred Registered EMG technician (BRETC certification) is preferred but not manditory. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex procedures in an understandable manner. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage patient records effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
