We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories.
Perform dental cleanings and apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides.
Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis.
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize EMR systems for documentation review and patient management.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with dentists in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry procedures.
Skills
Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and medical terminology related to dental care.
Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dental hygiene.
Experience in chairside assisting, patient care, and assessment methods.
Ability to navigate medical coding processes related to dental services.

Pay: $35.00-$49.00 per hour
