We are expanding again! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist dentists during various procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays). Provide excellent patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns during treatments. Maintain accurate patient records, including presentation and/or proposed treatment and medical history. Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the office. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Certified Dental Assistant. Familiar with dental software. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential. Experience in orthodontics/Invisalign/Implants is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. B.C. Certification in dental assisting is required.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
