part-time /full time

basis to support the Dentist and the team and increase the efficiency and quality of the care that our patients receive. The position requires working closely with the staff and patients, and we're looking for someone who can handle sensitive information and is able to do multi-tasking.

We are conveniently located on the intersection of the

East 18th Avenue and Fraser Street.



Duties



Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for patient treatment. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Manage patient records using Cleardent. Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks related to patient management. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Preparing the dental office. Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice. Assisting patients to fill out the information forms. Preparing patients' charts and consent forms. Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures. Assisting dentist in providing dental procedures.

Fast learner and caring. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.

Proficiency in Cleardent software is an asset.

New Grades welcome!

Ability to provide 4 handed dentistry. Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in Dental Assisting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiar with sterilization and infection control. Candidates must be

legally eligible to work in Canada
