Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic solo dentist owned well established dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with dental software such as Cleardent is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans Manage patient flow efficiently Provide education to patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care Managing office supplies

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred Proficiency in dental software systems such as Cleardent Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry Experience in pediatrics is an advantage but not mandatory Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
