How It Works?

Throughout our interview process we will ask you the regions (Windsor to Chatham) and hours you'd be interested in working. We then receive calls from dental practices to fill hygiene hours at their practices (sick days, vacations, long-term absences). If they align with your availability we then contact you to fill the gaps in their schedule. Giving you the control and flexibility you desire in your career.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care. Support pediatric and orthodontic procedures when necessary.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Certification in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
