Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth daily operations, and maintaining a comfortable environment for patients of all ages. Experience with Cleardent preferred. Willing to train a new graduat.

Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when required Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients Support front desk activities as a dental receptionist, including scheduling appointments and verifying patient information Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and medical terminology standards Educate patients on oral health care practices and treatment plans Ensure the comfort of patients throughout their visit by providing compassionate support

Requirements

New graduates are welcome Must have a CDA certification Proven experience in dental assisting / dental receptionwith knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Cleardent Experience working as a CDA is preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Certification or licensing in dental assisting is mandatory
