Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position involves assisting with various dental procedures, managing patient records, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities



Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software Tracker. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and answering questions to ensure patient comfort. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications as a dental receptionist when needed. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area according to safety protocols. Assist with orthodontic procedures and care for pediatric patients as necessary. Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental assisting practices.

Qualifications



Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with familiarity in orthodontics being a plus. Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Tracker is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with children in a pediatric setting. Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Pay: $22.36-$34.56 per hour
