Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by providing exceptional patient care and assisting with various clinical procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, proficiency in dental software, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.

- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.

- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.

- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.

- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.

- Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care in specialties such as Orthodontics and Pediatrics.

- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including managing billing and insurance claims.

Experience

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but we welcome candidates who are eager to learn.

- Familiarity with dental terminology and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is advantageous.

- Experience with dental receptionist duties is a plus, including scheduling and managing patient inquiries.
