Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the office while providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and contribute to a welcoming environment for our patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Take and develop radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Manage patient records using dental software - Curve Hero, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow to optimize office efficiency. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, adhering to infection control protocols. Assist with orthodontic procedures and pediatric dentistry as required. Utilize technology (intraoral scanners and 3D printers) for dental procedures when applicable.

Experience

Experience in dental assisting is preferred. Proficiency in using dental management software. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are essential for success in this role. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Additional Information

We work out of two locations. If you input 'Yu Family Dentistry' into Google Maps, you will see our two locations. Part-time opportunities are available at each office, or full-time opportunity is available, at both locations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
