Job Summary

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) plays a meaningful role in supporting our team and the overall well-being of our patients. As a CDA here, you will work closely with our dentists and hygienists to ensure smooth daily operations, maintain a calm and clean environment, and help create a positive, welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

Duties

Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for procedures Assist dentists during examinations and various dental procedures, including taking x-rays and providing patient comfort measures Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures performed Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards Provide compassionate care to patients, addressing their concerns and questions

Qualifications

Valid certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) from an accredited program or organization Prior experience working in a dental office is preferred but not required; training opportunities are available for motivated candidates Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards is advantageous Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with patients Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and clinical tasks Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Professional demeanor with a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety standards
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
