Summary

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at The Tooth Corner. This role is essential in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring a smooth, efficient operation within our offices. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality dental care in a friendly and professional manner.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with health protocols. Manage patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments and assist with front desk duties as needed. Support pediatric and orthodontic procedures as required. Able to work on Saturdays and some weekdays

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Familiarity with Paradigm software is an asset. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week

Licence/Certification:
