We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and restorative work. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Manage patient records using dental software such as Cleardent, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow to optimize office efficiency. Provide education to patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Support orthodontic procedures when necessary, demonstrating knowledge of orthodontics. Assist with pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience for children in the dental chair. Utilize CAD technology for dental procedures when applicable.

Skills

Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Cleardent is preferred. Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Ability to interact effectively with pediatric patients, demonstrating patience and empathy. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear interactions with patients and team members. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team environment. Pay: $28.00-$33.50 per hour
