Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental professionals in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Communication in Mandarin and Cantonese is preferred but not a must. Willing to work on weekends, including Sundays.

Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using software such as AbelDent Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments, including coordinating with the dental receptionist. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Support orthodontic procedures and assist with pediatric dentistry as required. Utilize scanner technology for dental procedures when necessary.

Qualifications

Prefers bilingual and able to communicate in Mandarin Chinese Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of medical terminology. Familiarity with dental software systems, especially AbelDent preferrably. Experience or interest in digital scanning and invisalign scanning is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred. Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
