Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled, friendly and energetic Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to ensuring a positive experience for our patients. The successful candidate will have a passion for building strong patient relationships and contributing to the ongoing oral health of their community.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist. Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive measures. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area in compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements

Certified and experienced Dental Assistant Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment. Familiarity with dental software Open Dental or similar is highly desirable. Experience in orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must be HARP certified A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of dentistry.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
