Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, along with knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics, will be highly valued. Duties

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary Manage patient records utilizing dental software such as Epic and Dentrix Provide patients with post-operative instructions and answer their questions Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle administrative tasks as a dental receptionist when needed Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit Educate patients on oral health care practices and treatment plans

Requirements

Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity in orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures Proficiency with dental software including Epic and Dentrix is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care Experience with CAD for imaging or modeling is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Certification or license in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
