Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Certified Dental Assistant Level II (CDA II) to join our professional dental team. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in dental assisting, particularly in general dentistry. This position requires expertise in contemporary dental technologies and procedures to support the delivery of superior patient care and assist our dental practitioners effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all required materials are readily available. Capture and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with safety protocols. Maintain precise patient records and documentation adhering to privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Manage patient flow and support scheduling appointments as required. Demonstrate proficiency in AbelDent software. Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Maintain and clean treatment rooms to ensure a hygienic and organized workspace. Experience with intraoral scanning is considered a valuable asset.
Required Skills

Proficiency in AbelDent software. Comprehensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques. Experience in chairside assisting. Competence in dental documentation and records management. Understanding of infection control standards in a dental setting. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of 3D scanning technology is an advantage.

Pay: $26.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 42 per week
