We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Prior experience with dental software such as Tracker, as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, is highly desirable. Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry, and implants. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
Provide chairside support by handing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining patient comfort
Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Tracker
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle administrative tasks related to patient care
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment in compliance with health regulations
Skills
Proficiency in dental software programs including Tracker
Experience or familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Knowledge of dental terminology relevant to dental practice
Ability to assist with CAD-based imaging or procedures is a plus
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Certification in dental assisting is required and willingness to learn is essential
1-2 years experience in a dental environment
