Okanagan Dentistry is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant with great people skills and a positive attitude to join our team! This position will be to cover a mat leave with the potential to carry on to a perminate position. We are an independently-owned dental clinic in the heart of Kelowna that is dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care with honesty and integrity. Our unique approach focuses on providing high-quality services in a comfortable, family-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a welcoming environment. Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.

Qualifications

Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association Minimum of 1 years of dental assisting experience is preferred Experience with Ortho/Prostho modules and clinical ordering experience considered an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour
