Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate be team player and will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills, as well as a passion for providing high-quality dental care.

Responsibilities



Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take dental radiographs (X-rays), iTero scans, and photos while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain patient records accurately, including medical history and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Take accurate notes, bill the performed treatment, and chart the odontogram to ensure accurate patient records.. Ensure the sterilization of instruments and maintain cleanliness of treatment areas in compliance with health regulations. Handle organization and track inventory management. Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional patient care in various specialties, including pediatrics and orthodontics.

Qualifications



Must be licenced and Certified Dental Assistant; experience and familiarity with dental terminology is essential. Proficiency in using dental software such as Tracker is desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring accurate record keeping. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. CPR certification is also beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 40 per week
