Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Experience with dental software such as ClearDent, as well as familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology, will be highly valued. Duties

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments Take X-rays using CAD technology when necessary Manage patient records using ClearDent software systems Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits Support front desk operations as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards

Requirements

Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is preferred Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Familiarity with dental software such as ClearDent is preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff New grads welcome! Training will be provided

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
