Experience with dental software such as Tracker, as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with safety and infection-control protocols.
Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including orthodontic treatments.
Take dental radiographs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of two years of dental assisting experience preferred, especially in orthodontics (orthodontic module is an asset).
Strong understanding of dental and medical terminology.
Proficiency with dental software such as Tracker, Diagnocat, and iTero.
Certified Dental Assistant licensed with
BCCOHP
, or Chairside Assistant with X-ray module.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
English proficiency required; Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are an asset.
