Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CERTIFIED Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Tracker Manage appointment scheduling, confirming visits, and handling patient inquiries as a dental receptionist when needed. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Support orthodontic procedures by preparing materials and assisting with patient fittings. Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting is an asset Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
