Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced practice

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. This position involves assisting dentists during procedures, managing patient records, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Completion of a dental assisting program is required for this position

Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Provide chairside assistance to ensure patient comfort during treatments. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans. Sterilize instruments and manage infection control protocols. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently. Educate patients on post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred. Familiarity with Abeldent is an asset but not required Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. A commitment to providing exceptional patient care with attention to detail.
