Job Description

We are looking for a full time Dental Assistant for our office

Busy dental practice with a great team.

Monday to Thursday and a half day Friday

No Nights and Weekends

Located in Almonte

Duties



Assist dentists during exams and all dental procedures Clean and prepare operatories while following strict IPAC protocols Sterilize instruments and maintain sterilization logs and documentation Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Support pediatric and adult patients with compassion to ensure their comfort during visits

Requirements



Education:

Graduated from applicable Dental Assisting Program (Level l or II), experience is preferred

HARP Certification:

Must be HARP certified to ensure compliance with safety standards.

NDAEB Certification:

Successful completion of the National Dental Assisting Examining Board is an asset (NDAEB) Experience with dental software systems Dentrix is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
Flexible language requirement:

French not required
