Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with dental procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary Manage patient records accurately using Epic and Dentrix software systems Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/check-out processes as a dental receptionist when needed Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and medical terminology standards Assist in creating a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, including pediatrics

Requirements

Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of dental procedures and equipment Familiarity with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and CAD imaging is preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail Certification or training in dental assisting is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Ability to adapt to new technologies and procedures within the dental field
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
