Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Athletic Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary healthcare team. As a team member you will work alongside Chiropractors, Athletic Therapists and Massage Therapists to provide our clients with an integrated approach to their health care. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of medical terminology. As a team member, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve their overall health goals. This position requires excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Responsibilities



Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and health history to determine appropriate treatment plans. Provide high-quality massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs, utilizing various techniques. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting treatment plans and progress. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments & self-care practices, referring to other professionals when necessary. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after their sessions. General maintenance of clinic space and equipment including laundry. Collaborate with other team members when necessary to enhance client care. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques & continued education. Must have good time management skills.

Experience



Certification as an Athletic Therapist from an accredited institution is required. Proof of being in good standing is also required. Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service & sales skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for understanding client needs and collaborating with healthcare providers. A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education in the field of massage therapy is encouraged.
