We analyze land, infrastructure, waterways, and long-term weather forecasts to provide dynamic, high-resolution visual insights into flood risks. Our precise visualizations and insights equip asset managers, lenders, homeowners, and insurers with the information necessary to manage and mitigate flood risks effectively at the property level.Our mission is to empower our clients to take proactive and informed actions to reduce flood risk, enhance building stability, and achieve peace of mind through meticulous planning. We serve a diverse range of stakeholders, including asset managers, developers, governments, insurers, lenders, and investors.Whether it\'s assessing existing properties in vulnerable flood zones, corporate buildings in urban areas, or new developments, NOAH identifies flood risk through an assessment, followed by mitigation strategies to manage the identified flood risk impacts, summarized by a dynamic metric with access to a live monitoring service of the property.Who we needWe are looking for a CEO and Co-founder who wants to lead a de-risked venture-backed business. You will spearhead a team of innovators and experts and oversee NOAH\xe2\x80\x99s growth from start-up to revenue-generating entity.This is a hybrid role.Who you areYou are an entrepreneur and leader with a proven track record of success, ideally with experience managing a successful startup exit. You know how to raise capital and effectively manage investor relations, demonstrating your capability to secure and steward financial resources adeptly.You have experience in making strategic decisions that propel business growth and innovation. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills make you a natural leader. You excel in articulating visions, motivating teams, and fostering collaborative environments. Your approach combines meticulous planning with the ability to execute strategies effectively to meet goals and objectives.What\xe2\x80\x99s in it for you:

  • Purpose: At NOAH, we are driven by a critical mission: to understand and reduce flood risk in real estate assets. With the stark reality that Canadians coast to coast are facing increased flood risks, you will play a key role in combating these challenges to make meaningful changes in flood resiliency and ultimately help save lives.
  • Security. Working at NOAH means being part of a venture that is de-risked by an experienced venture builder focused exclusively on the real estate industry. You will collaborate closely with the R-LABS\' seasoned team of operators, investors, and entrepreneurs, benefiting from a stable foundation of expertise while driving forward our mission to mitigate flood impacts.
  • Equity Ownership and Compensation: As a co-founder, you will be granted equity shares ranging from 10% to 30%, directly linking your contributions to the venture\xe2\x80\x99s success and growth. In addition to equity, you will receive a salary between $100K and $150K, commensurate with your experience and skills.
As our new CEO and Co-Founder, you will:
  • Raise capital. You will develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure necessary capital for growth and development. You will build and maintain relationships with investors, articulating the company\'s vision, goals, and progress to attract investment.
  • Oversee all aspects of business management. You will ensure operational efficiency, set strategic goals, and drive the company towards achieving its mission and financial objectives.
  • Manage Board relations. You will establish and manage strong relationships with the Board of Directors. You will prepare and present regular updates on company performance, strategic direction, and key initiatives ensuring effective communication and alignment between the Board and the executive team.
  • Implement and execute the marketing strategy. You will develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to build brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
  • Drive customer acquisition and sales. You will design and execute effective customer acquisition strategies to achieve sales targets. You will develop and manage sales processes, identify new market opportunities, and build strong relationships with key customers.
  • Lead product development and technology strategy. You will lead the product development process, ensuring that our technology solutions align with market needs and business goals. You will oversee the creation and execution of the technology roadmap, integrating customer feedback and industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team. You will recruit new team members, fostering their development, and creating a productive work environment to support team efficiency and growth.

  • An opportunity to complete two questionnaires highlighting your experience and motivation to join NOAH.
  • A series of consecutive in-person interviews with the Managing Director from R-LABS, the Venture Lead, and the President and Co-Founder of NOAH. These discussions will give you insight into our team and vision.
  • An opportunity to complete two assessments: Clifton Strengths to identify your natural talents, and Kolbe to evaluate how you apply these strengths in action.
  • A final in-person interview with the CEO and Founder of R-LABS to address any remaining questions.
