We are seeking a
Centralized Document Management (CDM) Technician
to join our Centralized Document Management Unit.
Reporting to the Manager, Centralized Document Management, the CDM Technician will be responsible for processing all inbound and outbound mail, printing, scanning, indexing and archiving documents.

In your first month as the CDM Technician, you will:
Familiarize yourself with the organizational structure and business operations
Understand the standard operating procedures and learn departmental workflows, policies and procedures
Begin to develop relationships with internal stakeholders and establish yourself as a resource within the CDM Unit
Become skilled in the use of our internal software, systems and office equipment
Your responsibilities will increase to:
Accurately process all digital and physical mail
Perform routine duties such as photocopying, scanning, indexing and archiving documents
Ensure documents are processed in accordance with established procedures and standards
Proactively problem-solve basic office equipment issues
Ensure the mail room is fully stocked and re-order supplies as needed
Qualifications for Your Success:
Experience & Education
Minimum of a Grade 12 diploma
Experience working with general office equipment (i.e. scanner, printers, postage machine)
Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration or related field.
Previous experience working within an office environment, mail room or document management setting is preferred
An equivalent combination of the above listed experience and/or education may be considered*
Knowledge, Competencies & Skills
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally
Proven ability to be highly detail oriented
Adept at learning processes and software systems
Effective problem solving skills
Demonstrated track record with maintaining confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of programs
Skilled at managing routine tasks on a daily basis
Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet operational deadlines
Familiarity with the pension and benefit administration fields would also be considered an asset
