Job Description

The FormTec Group, a formwork construction company located in Vancouver, is looking for a responsible, full-time Cement Finisher with some experience in Rendering/finishing.

No concrete placing involved!

JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position:

check formwork, chip, patch, grind, sack, and finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools. operate electric jack hammers and sanders fill hollows and remove spots on walls and flat surfaces. Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of floors, walls, roads and other concrete structures.
REQUIREMENTS

12 months of experience in concrete finishing or relevant experience

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member

Have a strong work ethic and good management skills.

Manual dexterity and ability to lift and move heavy objects

Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
