About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate

CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program) Tutor

to help learners achieve their desired test results. As a CELPIP Tutor, you will deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of adult learners preparing for the CELPIP-General or CELPIP-LS exam.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions (online or in-person) Teach all four CELPIP skill areas: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking Assess students' current proficiency and design customized study plans Provide test strategies, practice questions, and feedback to improve performance Track student progress and adapt instruction accordingly Support learners with time management and test-day readiness Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred) Prior experience teaching CELPIP or other standardized English exams (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.) Familiarity with the CELPIP test format, scoring system, and current materials Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Patient, encouraging, and culturally sensitive approach to teaching

Preferred

TESL/TESOL certification Experience working with international or adult learners Access to CELPIP preparation materials or teaching resources
