COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Farm Country Brewing is an independently owned brewery located in Langley, BC. We specialize great tasting beers. We are seeking a motivated, passionate and talented individual to join our packaging team. Reporting to the Head Brewer, this role is accountable for daily cellaring tasks around the brewery.

CELLAR PERSON: RESPONSIBILITIES

Report to the Head brewer Maintain a clean and organized work environment Transferring beer from fermenter to brite tank Carbonating beer and performing QA/QC checks Cleaning fermenters and brite tanks using CIP procedures Harvesting yeast Dry hopping beer Operating a forklift Other cleaning tasks as needed from time to time, Minor assembly and maintenance of brewery equipment, Other duties as required, from time to time.
PACKAGING ASSISTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in packaging of beer-canning and kegging, Washing and filling kegs, Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, Operation and maintenance of packaging equipment, including operation of the canning line as necessary, Operating a forklift, Additional cleaning as required from time to time, Organizing warehouse and cooler space, Adherence to packaging and storage SOPs, Minor assembly and maintenance of brewery equipment, Other duties as required, from time to time.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1 Year of brewery experience, preferably, Keen attention to detail, A passion for great beer, Physically able to maneuver 70 kg kegs, Physically able to stand for the duration of a shift, Physically able to lift 70lbs, Ability to work a flexible schedule, WHMIS certification, Fork-Lift Operator license.
