The Product Portfolio Management team is looking for a Rails and Facilities Project Designer for rail lift projects to join our multidisciplinary team. Would you like to contribute to a corporate mission focused on improving the quality of life of people with mobility issues? We\'d love to hear from you! Main responsabilities: Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Category Management, your role will be to:

• Participate in rail lever installation projects in collaboration with other departments;
• Generate detailed drawings for rail lever projects (layout plan, elevation and installation details);
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers to meet their rail lever layout needs;
• Use Revit software to incorporate rail lever systems into building construction drawings, and manage the creation of BIM objects;
• Collaborate with the sales and service department to support them in finding innovative solutions to complex issues;
• Plan and prioritize tasks in rail lift installation projects;
• Ensure proper documentation of each project under his/her responsibility.

Requirements:

• University degree in civil engineering, or college diploma in civil engineering or architecture, combined with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience;
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD;
• Knowledge of SolidEdge and Revit software (an asset);
• Thorough understanding of the Building Code;
• Ability to plan and manage several projects at once, and to prioritize them;
• Thoroughness and attention to detail;
• Excellent organizational skills;
• Fluency in English (5/5);
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both English and French;
• Proficiency in Office Suite;
• Available to travel on occasion.
