Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Roofing Installer (s) to join our team in Lunenburg. This role is vital in helping us maintain our reputation for quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. The successful candidate will contribute to creating safe, durable roofs that meet our high standards. This is a term fixed role for up to 6 months.

Responsibilities

Install cedar shakes Ability to work throughout the winter months. Ability to have proper safety working gear such as work boots, clothes and outwear. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time. There will be a supervisor on site at all times, hence ability to work in a team managed environment is vital. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Assist with general maintenance person tasks related to roofing projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience, preferably at least one year Strong knowledge of roofing, and carpentry would be an asset. Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds. If candidate lives outside of Lunenburg, R & A will want to understand a commuting plan from the candidate. A plan on how to access the job site will have to be determined before employment is offered. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Valid driver's license preferred.
