Join Roche Contract Development & Manufacturing Operations

(

CDMO) as a Value Driver Chapter Leader, reporting directly to the Head of CDMO Management. In this key role, you will shape and implement continuous improvements that drive value across our CDMO Network, aligning with the CDMO Strategy and overall Roche Pharma vision. You will lead a team of SMEs focused on Business/Process and Systems Optimization for CDMO site management teams, acting as a valued partner to key internal and external stakeholders to ensure reliable clinical and commercial supply.

The Opportunity:



You will lead an empowered team of Chapter Members with diverse expertise to ensure "Right to Operate" by implementing a customer-oriented, lean end-to-end mindset. You will collaborate with other Chapter Leads, Squad Leads, and Stakeholders to proactively address current and future needs of the VDC/Enabling Team and organization. You will coach the organization in problem-solving, RCA, and continuous improvement/Operational Excellence capabilities. You will develop a roadmap to drive efficiency and effectiveness through continuous improvement and the establishment of harmonized/standardized systems, processes, and tools. You will be responsible for talent management of the direct report team in accordance with the Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach (VACC) model. You will demonstrate outstanding business and operational manufacturing acumen, including the realization of initiatives to improve supply reliability and increase efficiency. You will identify important projects within CDMO and ensure project management support is provided, and lead the project intake and management process.

Who you are:



You will have at least 12 years in the Pharma/Biopharmaceutical industry with 7 years working in manufacturing, Quality, Compliance, Regulatory, Engineering, and/or Supply Chain. You will hold a Master's degree in Life Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related subject. You will possess strong Process/Business excellence training (e.g., Lean, Flawless Project Execution (FPX), Agile methodology), with Process Excellence training (Black-Belt) considered an advantage. You will have a generalist perspective from multiple experiences in corporate business environments, with exposure to contract manufacturing and/or manufacturing. You will demonstrate exceptional consulting skills: deeply listening and responding with agility, navigating complex organizational and business dynamics, including the ability to influence and partner with the CDMO-LT. You will exhibit strong executive presence and resonant communication at all levels, with experience framing communications for executive audiences. You will have a proven track record in change management and performance management.
